Meet the Team

This project is led by Dr. Athena Chan from Texas Tech University and Dr. Rodlescia Sneed from Wayne State University.

Rodlescia Sneed, Ph.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor of Gerontology and Psychology at Wayne State University and the Co-Investigator co-creating the Intergenerational Wisdom Exchange (WisE) Program. Her research focuses on how the social environment influences successful aging among diverse populations of middle- and late-life adults. She conducts multilevel research examining how individual, interpersonal, community, and policy-level factors affect health outcomes in these populations. Her work also seeks to address and reduce the gaps that contribute to health and well-being inequities. Learn more about Dr. Sneed’s work here.
